Lazy Day

This morning I met with some people from GSU (Global Student Union) and we went to a Shinhan Bank located in the Alumni Building. There were many people waiting in front of us (around 30) so we took a waiting ticket and went to a Chinese restaurant located in one of the upper floors. When we came back to the bank our number had already been called so we had to get a new one and started waiting again. Finally it all worked out and I made my Korean bank account (don't know how to get money on it yet, but let's proceed step by step :P )
Afterwards I met one of the girls who had yesterday's class with me and she gave me the copies of the books which we need. Apparently you can go somewhere and let someone copy the books for you for really cheap :)
I was supposed to have a class today but, as I found out while I was standing in front of the class room waiting for other people to come, the professor is sick and the class was cancelled for this week. So I went back to the dorm, disappointed of course ;), and somehow fell asleep again after my 라면 (Ramyeon) lunch.

Ramyeon are instant noodles which you can buy in a kind of cup. Once you want to eat them just add hot water and wait for a couple of minutes. We are not allowed to eat Ramyeon in the dorm, but I was sneaky and hungry ;) Yepp, dorm rules actually state that you are not allowed to have food in your dorm room (except certain kinds of "dried food"); it's explicitly stated that we are allowed to have drinking water in our rooms though...how generous! We don't even have a kitchen here, so theoretically you always have to go somewhere outside to eat.
Which me, my roommate and her boyfriend did for dinner. We went to Wangsimni station by bus and just walked down a random alley until we found a suitable small restaurant.

The random small alley
All of us ordered Bulgogi (but the non-spicy kind) which was served with rice and some kind of glas noodles mixed up with the meat. I didn't have Bulgogi like this before but it was very delicious.

On our way back to the bus we passed a small shop selling lamps, so all of us bought one (for just 15.000 krw each (~10 euros)). Now I can read :) & work :( after my roommate wants to go to bed (before we just had one huge ceiling lamp for both of us).
For dessert I had some cute little chocolate mushrooms:

I don't want to promise too much, but there might be some small sightseeing tomorrow :)
