Welcome Party

After the class I had a little bit of free time to go back to the dorm and get ready for the welcome party. Well, in hindsight it wasn't really what we would call a party ;)
Everyone was supposed to go there with their mentor and meet up with their mentor-group. In every mentor group are around 5-6 mentor-mentee pairs. The people in my group are all very nice and include two guys from the Netherlands (they are originally from somewhere else though), an American girl, another guy from Germany and hmmm, don't know exactly where the last guy was from...and me of course :) plus all the Korean mentors.
Every group had their own tables and we played two games: the telepathy game and a quiz. In the telepathy game, only four people of every group could participate and it took quite a long time. Afterwards in the quiz everyone could participate but it also was a long haul. I think four shorter games where everyone can take part would have been a lot more fun.
All in all, the "party" took only two hours, so our group left around 8 o'clock to find a nice place to eat. We went to a fried chicken place and had, a lot of chicken of course and beer. Some people also ordered a big seafood-platter (yuck) and an intestine-platter (double yuck). Unfortunately we left quite early (before 11), but I had a nice time and it was good to get to know everyone better.
