Study Group Saturday

After the long palace tour on Friday, I still went to the gym in the evening, working out for more than an hour. Result: I came down with a cold. Well, nothing too bad but it forced me to stay in the dorm most of the time on Saturday and I will probably stay inside (except for meals) today too. Maybe it gives me a chance to catch up a little bit with my work :)
For lunch I had 참치덮밥 (chamchi deopbap) at a small restaurant close-by. You get a big bowl of rice and a sauce made with tuna and spicy chili paste, topped up with a fried egg.

I also shared a roll of 김밥 (Gimbap) with Stephanie. Gimbap is like a Korean version of Sushi but without fish. There are many different kinds of Gimbap, including vegetables, eggs, tuna, cheese, etc. Ours was fill with vegetables, eggs and beef.

Back in the dorm I desparately tried to cram more vocabularies into my head for our study group. Most of it in vain... I don't know why I just can't remember those words and I really often mix up all the syllables, so my words sound similar but are really wrong :( anyone got a good method for memorizing words?
well, study group was ok...I'm really lagging behind and can never accomplish the goal we set for us, which makes me a little bit frustrated. Next meeting is tomorrow and I'm already scared :( Placement test for Korean Intensive Class is already on Thursday as well...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...

After the study group we were wandering around through the area to find a nice place for dinner, but in the end just ended up eating 만두 (Mandu, Korean dumplings) in a small restaurant. Mandu can be sooooo great but I yet have to find a good Mandu place here close to Hanyang University. Yesterday's Mandu were ok but I know they can be so much better...
